Shelly Solomon has been significantly involved in both School and Community organization activities as a leader, as a parent, and as a volunteer.  Her exerience and skills make her perfectly qualified to serve our district on the Broward County School Board!

• Was a member of School Advisory Forums (SAF), School Advisory Councils (SAC), North Advisory, and the District Advisory Council.
• Co-Chair, Broward School District’s Anti-Bullying Task Force.
• Advocacy Chair, Parkland American Cancer Society Relay for Life. (2008-2009)
• Member, Coral Springs Teen Advisory Task Force.
• Member, Parkland Buddy Sports Group for special-needs children.
• Executive Board Member, Kids and Police Tennis Association.
• Board of Directors Liaison, Children’s SOS Children Service Village, Coconut Creek, Florida.
• Assistant State Attorney, Broward County. (1992-1993)
• Volunteer, Legal Aid Services of Broward County for special-needs children of low-income families. (2010)
